President Trump delivered his keynote address on the final day of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). He spoke of a variety of topics, from the conflict between Russia and Ukraine to the Canadian trucker protests, from the Durham report to his persecution by the deep state and how to protect the rights of parents. He also introduced the Republican Party’s mission for the 2022 midterm elections and the 2024 general election.
Speaking on Canadian truckers, Trump said if the White House really wants to defend democracy in the world, why not start with Canada. Canadian lawyers have also criticized Trudeau’s approach recently. A group of 35 lawyers sent a letter to all MPs and senators to indicate that there was no justification for the Canadian federal government to activate the Emergencies Act.
