Republicans are confident of winning back the House and Senate this year. Rep. Darrell Issa said that he will lead an investigation into the news coverage of the suppression of Hunter Biden’s laptop and its contents.
Republicans are also planning to impeach Joe Biden if they succeed in taking back both the House and the Senate. This is not a new idea. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has introduced three impeachment resolutions against Biden. Now, top Republicans are talking about moving forward with an impeachment.
Joe Biden proposed a new tax plan aimed primarily at billionaires. The plan, which the White House has dubbed the “Billionaire Minimum Income Tax,” would impose a 20% minimum tax on U.S. households with more than $100 million in assets.
Joe Biden said that Vladimir Putin cannot be allowed to “remain in power.” This is seen as a sharp escalation in the U.S. attitude toward Russia. The Kremlin countered that it was not up to Biden to decide.
