Former President Donald Trump has retained strong popularity within the Republican Party after leaving office. According to an NBC poll released on January 17, Trump has the support of 87 percent of Republicans.
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo openly warned that the Chinese Communist Party is looking for the new administration’s “soft underbelly” in an effort to influence them, in order to complete a series of endeavors that have been hampered by the Trump presidency.
